April 4th – Rammlied + Kid Crimson + Only Human

: March 16, 2015 2:07 pm : Events, Update

Screen Shot 2015-03-09 at 13.51.58

Rammlied

RAMMLIED were formed in the South West in 2009. Martin (Vox), Doug (Guitar), Kamil (Guitar), Gary (Drums) and Steve (Keys/Synths) are dedicated to providing the most authentic Rammstein tribute experience possible.
RAMMLIED strive for total accuracy in terms of Rammstein’s sound and have adopted the band’s Industrial stage look as seen on the live Volkerball DVD and the current Made in Germany tour. They have been touring the UK and Europe extensively in 2013/14 and are taking bookings for 2015, but be quick as the diary is filling up fast.

ABOUT RAMMSTEIN
Rammstein are a German industrial metal band from Berlin, formed in 1994.The band consists of members Till Lindemann (lead vocals), Richard Z. Kruspe (lead guitar and backing vocals), Paul H. Landers (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Oliver “Ollie” Riedel (bass guitar), Christoph “Doom” Schneider (drums and electronic percussion) and Christian “Flake” Lorenz (keyboards).

Their songs are usually in German, but they have also performed songs entirely or partially in other languages such as English, Spanish, French and Russian. As of 2009, they have sold over 15 million records worldwide. Rammstein’s entire catalogue is published by Universal Music Group. Since their formation in 1994, Rammstein has had no changes in their band line-up nor have any members left the band.

Rammstein takes their name indirectly from the German town of Ramstein-Miesenbach, the site of the flight show disaster on 28 August 1988. The band’s signature song, “Rammstein”, is a commemoration of the disaster. In a short period before the band became well known, they performed using the name “Rammstein-Flugschau” (literally meaning “Rammstein-Airshow”).

Kid Crimson
Kid Crimson were formed in late august 2014 by ex-No Glory frontman Izzy Evans, guitar virtuoso Craig Manning and Bassist Andrew Terrett, they were joined soon after by Drummer Simon Griffiths and Guitarist Evan Meredith-Davies.

Kid Crimson are looking to establish themselves on the UK band scene quickly and so far have done just that gigging within 4 short months and looking to be ready to record in early 2015, each musician has a good amount for experience, talent and skill that we’re looking to utilise to create something spectacular. Great music & high energy live performances that we hope will keep people wanting to come see us again and again.

Only Human
Were a young 5 piece metal band from Cwmbran (wales) and we just want to play music and have a laugh!

7th March – Misled Truth + The Liminal + Jamee Summers

: February 25, 2015 12:49 pm : Events, Update

10978482_1582821308597882_7645961731776449883_n

Misled Truth
Created in a secret underground lab by a shadowy government organisation that didn’t officially exist, the members of Misled Truth quickly engineered an explosive escape and set about using their genetically-engineered powers for good instead of evil. Something like that anyway, the details are hazy and indistinct.

Jamee Summers
Jamee is a late comer to music, started singing at the age of 16, but had known music was his passion since his first music lesson in secondary school when his teacher got him to sing “can you feel the love tonight”.
it was only in the last to years of secondary where he realised how much music meant to him, and something that he wanted to take up as a career. with only a little experience of playing the guitar he has formed his on style which creates a nice laid back vibe, although where his guitar skills are continuously improving, where he lacks in guitar ability he makes up for it with his soulful voice. He has been known to make rooms go silent. Jamee has performed at various including local gigs, competitions, charity events and open mic nights.

For the best part of the last 30 years, the music of U2 has been heard over the airwaves, in arenas and stadiums from one side of the planet to the other. They’ve released 12 studio albums, 3 ‘Best of’ albums and 1live album; have been involved in a number of compilations and are the biggest stadium rock band the world has ever seen. No other band has consistently made popular music for as long. 20th February – Ffli Friday Reconcile + Digital Criminals + Them Dead Beats

: February 25, 2015 12:38 pm : Before, Events, Update

Reconcile10492554_1582092258670787_3930369694040804488_n
Reconcile are a 5 piece unit who formed in early 2008 and started to create their individual sound from the array of influences that each member threw on the table.

The band fused what already possessed n their audio armory, then amalgamated their differences, resulting in a rapid evolution into the Reconcile they are today…..

With the body of talent entwining their own personal styles in such harmony combined. The end result is a much flava’d concoction of rollercoastering riffs, defiibulating beats and bomb fueled bass-lines which are contorted perfectly with lyrics of meaning.

With only one change from the original line-up, drummer Dan Davies joined in early 2012 after D.C’s departure and has helped progress Reconciles personality even further.

From local venues in and around South Wales and Bristol’s surrounding areas, the guys have also played the likes of TattooJam’09, Glastonbuget’11, the first 2years of Breakin’Out Festival, Brisfest’13 and also Surface Festival’s 2011 international competition, which gave the guys a slot at London’s O2 Indigo Arena in the finals, where they achieved 10th place out of 12,000 applicants.

Reconcile are continuing to create and write new material and are as strong as ever.

Digital Criminals
Digital Criminals want to give music lovers a “back to roots” recording, relying on capturing a great band performance and limiting the post production relied upon by so many modern artists today.

Still regarded as a “New Band”, the Digital Criminals line up was completed in August 2014. The writing partnership of Dan Fry (Guitarist) and Emily Bates (Vocalist) inspired both Andy Jones (Drummer) and James Hardwick (Bass Player) enough to respond to their advertisement. Following a few rehearsals the bonds between the 4 was cemented.

Their first performance was 3 months later in the form of a support slot, to introduce audiences to their sound. As the band grew closer as a unit, they self produced both the music and video for ”Got To Go There”, which is featured on “Blank TV”. This was followed by the energetic live recording of “Before It Goes Any Further” which set the bands “No Frills” approach. Following a great response, the bands main focus is to perform everywhere possible and build upon an already growing fan base, whilst continuing to write and record music their way!

Them Dead Beats
A two-piece rock ‘n’ roll outfit hailing from the glamorous suburbs of Barry but with feet now firmly planted in the heart of Cardiff, Them Dead Beats deliver a whirlwind of filth infused garage rock and blues on a weekly basis.
Leading this Steptoe duo is Matt Taylor. Taking vocalstyling’s from the more unique areas of blues and rocks chequered history, Matt never fails to deliver a raucous performance with his buzz saw vocals never failing to make an impact.
Keeping the backbone strong is Rhys Gallivan. Acting almost as a second frontman, Rhys multi-tasks in providing thunderous rhythms as well as stoking the crowd into a dance floor frenzy.
They wear their influences on their sleeves with obvious nods to Tom Waits, The White Stripes, Bob Dylan, The Black Keys, The Doors and more.
Together they produce music reminiscent of analogue warmth and dirty dancehalls. With tracks being as varied as Break In, Strange Pop and Stop and Down By The River these two musical scoundrels are versatile in style without ever straying too far from their crowd pleasing tone.

Blue is Black

Were a band with a song in our hearts…..it might not be a happy song or a
friendly song or cuddly, snuggly, wuggly song but hey, thats whats in our hearts..

weve been together long enough to start very rock and roll feuds with in the group
which will undoubtedly put us on the cover of smash hits in no time…

Justin is the guitar hero who wishes that everything could be sleazy. Jon hides behind the drum kit, mainly from Justin’s sleaziness. Tom is a typically charismatic bass player who does a fantastic chicken head bob, and Alex howls his lungs out on a regular basis.

Glue Foot
