New Cowboy Builders 22:00pm

New Cowboy Builders are a post-punk noisy thing based in Bristol but originally from the Rhondda Valleys. For almost seven years they have been playing loud, scratchy and ranty music without any consideration for promotion, distribution or audience reception. Their last two releases (ULTRA-SOCIAL HAPPY MAN & GARAGE NIGHT) received acclaim from a number of notable blogs and publications both in the UK and abroad as well as a lot of airplay on Adam Walton’s Saturday evening show on BBC Radio Wales. This year they will be putting out a new seven inch entitled BLACK MOSES which has already been featured on Wales Online’s Best New Welsh Music feature and touring in support of its release.

Recently we’ve been focussing all our efforts into making the venue ready to open up. We are almost there and we are happy to announce that The Dragonffli shall be opening its doors to the public at 5pm on Saturday June 7th 2014. We’re kicking off our opening weekend with Beardstock which will run late into the night, then on Sunday we will be open from 4pm for our Sunday Rock-Breaker day which will run up to midnight. It’s free entry all weekend and there’s some really great bands playing so we hope you can make it along. You might be quite surprised.

Do you have memories made at The Hog & Hosper, or perhaps you even remember the days when it was called The Hospitality…(not likely). We’d really love to hear your tales of reminiscence from this popular inn so if you have a funny or touching story then feel free to drop us a message or comment with your story
